Mentoring

We will model the way, inspire, challenge, enable and encourage others to act and be the change we want to see as a community.

The goal of mentoring programs is to provide youth with a trusted, positive relationship with an adult in order to reduce risk factors (e.g., early antisocial behavior, isolation, lack of motivation to succeed in school or work) by enhancing protective factors (e.g., prosocial values and beliefs, opportunities for meaningful involvement, and social and material reinforcement for appropriate behavior).
